i am and forever will be a huge fan of poe. he's one of those writers where he has had so much happen to him obver the course of his life that it would be incredible if he didn't write. he took all the blows life threw at him and turned them right around in dynamic poems that captivate a reader. he also has a way of taking you away from your life and where you are and plopping him right there in the middle of his story. so while reading it's easy to feel as if youre actually in the story.
